This morning our group set out for a 1/2 day tour of Paris. our coach arrived at 0900 with a young female driver who then guided us through the traffic to the first location at Montparnasse where our guide was waiting for us.
The tour went very well and the group were returned to our hotel at 1500. A very good day was had by all, except the few who were still struggling with the flu and had decided to stay in the hotel to be ready for our move to the Somme tomorrow.
Our team had some meetings arranged and had left John Lee to take the tour to enable us to attend those meetings. We needed to reserve rooms for future visits and were well received by the hotels we visited. Also, we called on the group who have been arranging our Paris Tours for the last many years and until today we had only had phone and email contact. It was a really nice meeting and putting faces to voices and emails was good indeed. Due to that meeting, they offered to keep the tour going longer and delivered our group back to our hotel. Marvellous what personal contact does.
Our team headed out of Paris by train and arrived back just after the group.
Tomorrow the Somme but in the meantime some shots around Paris.
