Our group arrive from different parts of Australia and on different airlines, coming together for the first time at the Indochine restaurant in Ho Chi minh City
This a taste of old Saigon. Set in the courtyard of an old French villa, complete with vintage Citroen in the driveway, a four piece jazz band playing classic pop songs of the pre-war era even if the early summer evening humidity would have had the French colonials heading for the beaches, this was an elegant introduction to our tour.
