On Tour - Swim the Dardanelles 30 August 2011

Quite a day. This time the Dardanelles were like a millpond, making it much easier for the swimmers than last year. All of our competitors: Michelle and Richard Boffey, Louise Mayo, Lyn Nicolson, Lyn O'Connell and Clare Wall, completed the course and received a medallion and certificate for their efforts. Louise Mayo and Michelle Boffey coming second and third respectively in their gender age group. Spectators were treated to a cruise on the Dardanelles, and an excellent luncheon while watching the race.
