Swimmers Visit Battlefields - Surfers Conduct Carnival

Today, our swim tour members concluded their truncated visit to the Gallipoli Battlefields with presentations at ANZAC Cove, Lone Pine and The Nek.

At Lone pine, the fate of Lieutenant Nettleton, Sergeant Green and Lance Corporal Howitz, all killed on 8/9 August 1915, and with no known grave were contemplated.

Back at Kum Beach, our surf club tour members conducted the second surf carnival in Turkey, with coverage on Turkish Television and a great performance by all teams.

Tomorrow is the Dardanelles swim.
