Today was the day Africa worked its magic on us. Soon after we headed out from White River we found ourselves entering the Krueger National Park, animal and bird life was in abundance. Hornbills, eagles and the most beautiful sparrows I have ever seen. We saw elephants, zebras, wildebeest, gnu, buffallo and best of all a rhinoceros; this time when it was light enough to photograph.
The day was spent photographing and learning from Diederik's expert commentary. A day to truly remember. It concluded with a barbeque or braai, Diederik's culinary skills proved equal to his wildlife knowledge. Tomorrow we will be on the road by 06:00!
