On Tour - RAAF Bomber Command in the UK Tour 7 July 2023

The Bomber Command Tour started today with the gathering of our team and interesting it brought together quite a few have been with me on various tours. The Boer War Tour, Bomber Command Tour, Battle of Greece and Crete Tour and the UK History and Heritage Railway Tour. So, all are happy to be starting off tomorrow following dinner together tonight.

We head to Bedford tomorrow via a visit to War Memorial Museum at Hendon which has undergone a refurbishment since our last visit. While most were finding their way to our hotel and to settle in, Graham and I took the time to head out to the Queen's Head Pub at Cranford for a relaxing few hours watching the 2^nd day of the Ashes 3^rd Test! The hospitality of the Pub's owner was very good and we had a most enjoyable day.

After such a relaxing day, tomorrow will be a busy day as we start to head north.
