Today was our day in transit. We met our driver Jos then a leisurely leave from our Hotel in Brussels to transit to our accommodation in Lens, close to the battlefields.
The rest of the day was for relaxing, tomorrow we need to rise early for the Polygon Wood and Passchendaele battle commemorative ceremonies.
The afternoon was free with most visiting the nearby shopping centre, then our evening briefing and meal.
