Bit of a late start, then to the Kariye Museum (Chora Church). Here the preserved life-like mosaics were exquisite, I leave you to check-out the pictures below. The story they tell is also an interesting one, pre-dating modern versions of the Bible, Jesus was born in a cave, and Joseph was a bit suspicious of the virgin birth.
Our next stop was the Grand Bazaar. Three hours of non-stop shopping.
Then a private cruise of the Bosphorus with Yavuz giving a running commentary covering every site of significance.
Our final event was an excellent sea food dinner and a chance to thank Yavuz for the contribution he made to what was described by one guest as the "trip of a lifetime".
Tomorrow we each go our separate ways with many memories.
