A great start to the tour, ok, the 'plane was an hour late and one couples baggage was left in Brisbane by an un-named airline but great all the same. A drive through Honiara allowed the group to take in the sites, and our briefing before evening meal revealed an encyclopaedic knowledge of the battles by our US guests who had served in the Marines and Navy.
An early night, tomorrow we have an early start and head across Ironbottom Sound toward Tulagi.
