On Tour - ANZAC Landings Centenary Tour 21 April 2015
Released from the confines of the ship, our spirits flew as we headed for the battlefields to commemorate those who gave their lives for their country.
Breakfast was early, then we had to wait for the ship to dock; a bit of military training in 'hurry-up and wait'.
The sun bathed the countryside in beautiful clear light, and our administrators ensured the day went like clockwork. Every one of our tour participants enjoyed the programme. Many ancestors had their service commemorated in a very fitting manner.
Some of our tour group even learned details about Light Horse participation in the campaign.
